May 29: Tinubu will fix Nigeria with God’s help – Pastor Adeboye

  The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will fix Nigeria with God’s help. Adeboye gave this assurance at the monthly thanksgiving service at the RCCG Headquarters in Ebute-Metta. The cleric, represented by his Special Assistant, Pastor Dele Balogun, said Nigeria would prosper under Tinubu’s administration. The RCCG General Overseer urged Tinubu to fulfil Nigerians’ dream of a new nation. He stated, “Let us pray for the incoming government that God will support it and give it the Grace to do the right thing. “Thank God the President-elect has promised to fix Nigeria. Tinubu: Court adjourns hearing on Peter Obi’s petition till Wednesday By Ikechukwu Innochiri

  The Presidential Election Petition Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned further pre-hearing session on the petition the Labour Party and its candidate, Peter Obi filed to nullify Tinubu’s election victory, till Wednesday. The court equally fixed the same date for another petition by the Action Peoples Party, APP, while it adjourned the case of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, till Tuesday. While adjourning the cases, the court urged the parties to identify all the witness statements and documents they would rely on or object to during the actual hearing of the petitions. Among those in court to witness the proceedings included the presidential candidate of the LP, Mr Peter Obi. Meanwhile, the court, on Monday, barred Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State from standing before it as the representative of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. The Minority caucus of the incoming 10th House of Representatives made up of seven opposition parties has mocked the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, over its “confusion” on the choice of candidate for the speakership and vowed to exploit the loophole to produce presiding officers of the House. This is coming as the South-East caucus of the Senate urged the APC and the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to allow the zone to produce the Senate President to ensure equity in the 10th Senate. Currently, there are no fewer than 10 APC members-elect jostling to become the next House of Representatives speaker. Aside from the alleged “confusion” in the APC, the opposition parties have 181 members-elect compared to APC’s 179 and so can, if united, produce the leaders of the House.
